What a missed opportunity! Lovely position opposite the seafront and pleasant, friendly staff. Sunday carvery ( no other choice on menu) consisted of beef or pork and vegetables. Beef looked so overdone and dry that we did not try it. Pork was tough and rather dry. Vegetables mostly frozen. " Home-Made" stuffing - I don't think so. Dry Paxo. Ladies... More

Stopped only for drinks but is on the front and not far from shopping and all other places to visit. Did look at menu and only a small selection available. Beach has great sand and plenty of things to view and do. Boat rides with jet skis not far away plus some great views. Shops are varied from the new... More

Where do we begin with this review.... First off we got given a dirty glass, when ordering food for 2 adults one child we got told they had no mash potato to go with the child meal and we had to wait 20 minutes for a jacket potato with beans and cheese! When the food was served the jacket potato... More

Very poor food. Wish I'd read the reviews. The order was wrong. The young lad that came out with the food had a filth tea towel. We were on holiday so passing trade.. shame because it's in a good spot on the front. Go somewhere else

We decided to call into The Dorothy Inn for lunch with some friends and our two hungry boys while on holiday in Weymouth. We should have walked straight back out! There was a musty smell in the air but as the boys were hungry we decided to stay. On ordering, we were told there was no chicken or pizza left... More

Second visit this year first time back in May had lovely carvery meal but this time round not so brilliant no serviettes when asked was given toilet towels. Toilets were appalling with broken cisterns and awash with God knows what! For a pub in such a great position overlooking the Esplanade it really is a shame that the present owners... More

At last... a carvery with roast lamb, and plain cauliflower (I hate cheese!) in addition to the favourable selection of meat and veggies. Although the place could do with a bit of TLC, I was impressed. Will no doubt call in again on my next visit.
