I spent a fair time looking for a last minute booking to Weymouth and we were not disappointed in the Harlequin. Owner Mike called me almost straight away to thank me for my booking and to say that although he was away he had left the place in capable hands, and he had! He did worn me that breakfast might...

We booked into the Harlequin based on reviews on trip advisor and it certainly lived up to them. Clean, friendly and centrally located. Mike, the owner went out of his way to be helpful. The rooms were very clean with plenty of supplies to make hot drinks. The included breakfast was very good, set us up for the day! We...

Thank you for your kind words. I hope your long journey home went well. It was no problem at all matching your internet booking price. It is a common fallacy that booking through an on line travel agent is cheaper. They take a large commission and we accommodation providers have to pay v.a.t on top of that. Online travel agents are...

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped over the threshold. We were all offered drinks immediately, and Mike kindly informed us of all the best places to visit in Weymouth. Our family room was clean and tidy, and the beds were all comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and the children's orders were cooked to perfection. I will...

We found Mike to be very pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy as was the en suite, we were here only 2 nights which was enough. The only downside was on our last day we waited over half an our before we were asked what cooked breakfast we wanted.

Thank you for your review, Sorry you had to wait for your breakfast. You visited over a very busy school holiday weekend. I did mention to you that the kitchen would be busy and that if everybody came down at regular intervals then things would run smoothly but if everybody descended at the same time then a little patience would...

Stayed at the Harlequin for one night on the way to Devon. Our host Mike greeted us and immediately offered tea and biscuits which was most welcome after a long drive from Essex. We had a quick chat and we were then showed to our room. It was a family room with a double and a single bed with an...
