I had visit Huntly Arms Hotel with my friends this summer and we liked it very much. The hotel was in the process of renovation and I am sure after it it will be much more agreeably. Rooms were very clean and fine decorated. Breakfast was very various and tasty. THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF, everybody were friendly and responsive.... More

I don't usually write Tripadvisor reviews but I felt inclined to after seeing some of the negative comments others have made. On arrival we were greeted by a young man who checked us in and helped us to our room with no problems. There was a bit of work going on in the upstairs hallway but it was finished by... More

This place is really good, Great location in the centre of the town, Plenty of parking, spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast and dinner and nice staff. We had a twin room which was spacious with big bed and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this hotel and I am very fussy. Wallpapers are new and look pretty.

Not fare to say to much about standards as under great refurbishment, it is getting a lot of work done to it,I enjoyed my stay. 60 pounds for 2 bed and breakfast staff were great room was huge double bed large and 2 single beds, but no chair. Not really a problem. Bar downstairs large but getting repainted to.dining room... More

Probably the worst hotel I've ever visited. Currently being renovated. Not sure what stage its at but its just a mess. It still needs a serious investment to bring it anywhere near the standard of the cheapest hotels on the market. Creaky floors, lights unplugged mixture of 3 pin round and standard UK fittings, paint pots lying, smell of paint,... More

I'm done my fair share of travelling and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Room 107 was horrible. Loose floor tiles in the bathroom, holes in the wall, dirty glass in the bathroom and only one tv channel didn't make for a good start but I should have known that from the incompetent check in. No information... More

Arrived to a member of staff standing texting behind reception only to look up in distain and then continue texting without acknowledging our arrival in any way. Thankfully someone emerged from the reception office to assist us. We were then told we'd been accidentally booked in for the previous night but this had been rectified (our confirmation has the correct... More

Undergoing renovations? I do hope so. We enjoyed out two nights there though because it was clean! We had a heating and lighting problem and both were fixed very quickly. Breakfast was optional which suited us very well. You could pay just for the room! The small TV had no picture that could be seen. We gave up! There was... More

Firstly this is solely my experience and 100% genuine. The hotel is undergoing renovations mainly decorating. This really isnt fair on fee paying customers. However I do understand that they have to get revenue in. There are nice comfortable seats in the dining room which has chandeliers and is very nice. Also the main lounge has very comfortable chairs too.My room actually... More

Large, comfortable and very clean room and bathroom, and the hotel happily accommodated two dogs at no extra charge. Large park opposite for exercise, even though the hotel was in a town centre location. Much of the hotel already undergoing renovation and will be fabulous when finished, but very acceptable as is. Recommended.
