I can only confirm what Zoolander has already said. The only things I would also mention is that the booking had been made some while ago and not last minute. The family room bathroom was supplied with a bottle of hand wash and one small packet of soap. Hardly enough for one let alone a family. Do not be fooled... More

When you look at the actual substance of this complaint there in nothing and I'm puzzled, Not enough soap? when there is a small bar of soap and a push dispenser of soap with enough soap in as anyone could need..... is this review serious? Complaining that the chairs are WOODEN. Sorry, I'll get tubular steel chairs in just for... More

Where do we start. I'm serving an improvement needed notice on this place. I think and I hope the owner is listening to feedback. (18.9.16) if this place was a school and looked at by ofsted. It would be a Four (inadequate) and under special measures. Greeted by the owner and informed he had just finished painting the family room.... More

Well, I've read some waffle in my time, but this takes the biscuit, it's a shame this guest has nothing better to do..... put the 'breakfast on the table, had a drink, put the breakfast on the table' I bet his friend loves reading his tweets, his friend is his wife.... Fabulous full English breakfast, tasty and hot. Great location opposite the Minster and close to the town centre . Andy was a chatty and knowledgeable local man. However, parking- although free is quite a distance away on a residential street out of view. The room itself was large but could have been a little more spacious with less furniture. Two dining... 'Good breakfast but nothing else' ..... then goes on to mention, spacious room great location, chatty and knowledgeable host.... Free car parking if you can walk 100 yards???? but the good news is, the room has been completely refurbished and re-decorated, since this stay, so I think it takes care of the other issues too.. Lovely comfortable accommodation above an art and antique shop, very central next to the Minster. Real nice breakfast, all in all good value. We stayed in a triple room which was tastefully decorated and the room was very clean with a large on suite bathroom.

A last minute decision to stop in Beverley and we booked this B & B over the phone. Its location is great for the town with just a couple of minutes walk to the new shopping centre and the old town. The rooms are a bit noisy being right above the road and close to the railway but you are... More

On the edge of the town centre with easy walking access to all pubs and restaurants and particularly to Beverley Minster the situation is spot on. Breakfast was a treat - traditional and piping hot. Andy - the owner was a really nice chap, welcoming and friendly. I am sure to go there again

Visited as a family for a weekend. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the generous size, and how friendly the owner was. Had two very good night's sleep in freshly pressed sheets and enjoyed the delicious breakfast! Owner even remembered that we didn't like tomato and that our drinks order would be two teas and one... Usually i do not book B&B's which i am not familiar with, however this is one of the nicest places i have stayed. The owner was extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. This was a last minute break for myself and my husband. I called Andy, the owner, as soon as the booking was made and from the onset he was so friendly and welcoming. The front is an antique shop. Behind that is the dining room, fairly small but enough room for 2 large tabels. The bedroom was large with a double bed and a single. Very comfy. Spotlessly clean. Good shower. The manager was very freindly. The breakfast was to die for. Definitely recommend this place. Quaint and friendly.
