We visited with family the log cabins are lovely and very spacious. The one we stayed in is due for refurbishment although it is still ok ....The bathrooms are still clean and fresh looking and same with the bedrooms the bedding spotless.... Unfortunately we followed a group of people that had NOT looked after it and there was some damage... More

We stayed for a weekend in a Pod 3 years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it and since have spent one weekend a year Glamping. We have to say Dacre leaves the rest standing. Beautiful views, pleasant staff, superbly clean, well maintained, nice clubhouse and now the addition of Bert's Pizzeria. The location on the lake is just amazing. See you again... More

Stayed here Friday 15th July to Monday 18th July - Lodge number 4, absolutely loved it, on the edge of the lake, with a hot tub, park was spotless and so was the lodge, would definitely recommend. I've just booked again to stay in a lodge with a private garden .

Booked this dog friendly lodge for one week, lodge was beautiful well appointed, very clean, lovely balcony and hot tub, unfortunately the weather was dreadful while we were here, downside for us was that although dog friendly you cannot leave the dog alone in the lodge which meant we couldn't even get a peaceful drink at the bar.

Stayed in no18 Bulrush waters Edge lodge overlooking Lake, we have been visiting Dacre for 6 years now , we always book a lodge overlooking the lake, lodges and park are great, you can feed the ducks and swans from your veranda, sit in hot tub which are covered by wooden roof over the veranda so you can sit in... First impression was what a gorgeous location. The view from the Lodge overlooking the lake was beautiful. Unfortunately after seeing the swans on the pond attacking all the ducks and coots and drowning all their babies wasted our holiday. All the young birds were drowned by the swans apart from one baby coot. He was still alive when we left... More

We booked and planed to come here with close friends. So there were two couples staying here. It was easy to find. When we arrived to the park the receptionist was very friendly and we had a very quick check in. There were caravans, pods, and lodges. We arrived to our lodge witch was number 9. It was one out... Myself, father and daughter stayed in Lodge 12 for a mon-fri break. The lodge was immaculate with all modern facilities. We spent days walking the dog around the beautiful maintained grounds, pedallo on the lake and meeting friend at Berts restaurant. In the evenings we went in the hot tub and spent quality time together. It was the perfect holiday.... More

My girlfriend and I received a gift for Glamping at Lake dacre for Christmas last year and decided to go this June. The place was easy to find and the staff seemed friendly and approachable. We stayed in 'pine' pod beside lake dacre. The pod was clean and features a hard foam floor and a single plug socket located beneath... More
