Our friend's decided to get married in the Bride's hometown of Brokenhurst, which is a charming location in the New Forest. The now married couple had the task of finding accommodation for all of the guests travelling down the night before! The hotel had newly been refurbished to a very high standard, with no expense spared. Upon arrival we were... More

Had a fabulous long weekend at this lovely place, right in the heart of the New Forest. Found it on the internet and thought we'd give it a try. It's so close to everything and all the staff were fantastic. So attentive and keen to please. Even with an 11 week old baby we were made to feel welcome and... More

We came here for Sunday lunch today. We found this restaurant relaxed, accommodating and attentive. The service was efficient and very pleasant. The food was well cooked, nicely presented and delicious. Afterwards we walked around the garden and sat in a very comfortable lounge overlooking the garden for a while.. We felt welcome to linger as long as we liked.

My Wife and I stayed at the Forest Park in early June the night before we attended our friend’s wedding. Set in a beautiful location right in the heart of the New Forest National Park, the hotel has clearly gone through a full refurbishment and the results are great. Our room was very spacious, with a modern finish but maintaining... More

The night before my brothers wedding, those migrating from London required cheap & cheerful accommodation. Whilst it was cheap, it was certainly more than just cheerful. Great food, well stocked bar, live music, excellent food service (most small kitchens would have buckled under the pressure of serving a small army in one sitting) and the reception staff and hotel management... Shocking view when you arrive, looks like a building site. Staying here at the moment and there is renovation taking place (see pictures ) The hotel still charges prices as if it wasn't in the middle of a nightmare refiit and despite the insult of these works taking place while the hotel still charges top prices, it doesn't even have... The hotel cheerfully tried to over-charge us for breakfasts not ordered/eaten and a room which others have complained about and is way, way below even basic standards. Guess what? They do not even care! They will happily upset you and take your money without so much as a 'by your leave'! Me: my room is way below my expectations. Hotel:... More

This hotel has been bought by a local man after years of under investment from a chain. It is a well-placed hotel, with easy access to Brockenhurst town centre, and the forest which is quite literally on your doorstep. The recent renovations have been sympathetic to the old, but with the introduction of some nice new touches. The finish in... More

My husband and I took his mum, dad and sister to this restaurant for Fathers' Day lunch. Often I find when there are special days like this the set meal can be a bit below par and the service slow but that was not the case here. the Fathers' Day menu had a good choice with about 5 options for...
