We were here for one night and absolutely loved it. Ken and Sheila are so welcoming and definitely went the extra mile to make our stay special; even appearing with a surprise birthday cake at breakfast for me! We'd definitely stay here again.

I really felt at home staying at the blacksmiths house. Ken and Sheila went out of their way to accommodate me after a mix up with the booking. The room (the cat and fiddle) was clean and tidy and well equipped with local information and tea and coffee facilities. Home made scone and cakes looked lovely but I'm on a...

So glad we booked to stay here. Great hosts and fabulous breakfast. A really spacious comfortable room on the ground floor which would be suitable for guests with a disability. Conveniently located close to railway station, high street shops, pubs and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend to friends.
