We stayed here for a long weekend in March when visiting my Mum for her birthday, Margaret and John were so welcoming and have such a beautiful home, spotlessly clean comfortable rooms and fabulous garden, also use of your own lounge, couldn't ask for more. John's breakfast was terrific too. Thank you Margaret and John. Janet & Steven x

Thankyou so much for these encouraging words. So glad the sonic was appreciated. It was our sons once upon a time but it is still fun. Thankyou again. Love to you all.

We have had the most comfortable, welcoming and peaceful stay imaginable. Breakfasts were superb and cooked to order, the rooms were clean, well stocked and comfortable, and the huge whirlpool bath and shower were a great...

As other reviews just about cover all that I could possibly say about John and Margaret, one thing comes to mind, that Margaret would pick a bouquet of scented flowers fresh from the well maintained garden and put them on the bedside table, what joy, it's the little things like that that stay in the memory and yes my wife...

We were made to feel welcome and comfortable at this B&B. The rooms are all spacious enough (even though we had the smaller one!) and have a flat screen TV in them aswell as tea/coffee making facilities. There is a cosy living room downstairs with a TV in also. The breakfast was lovely, we had a selection of fruit, yogurt...

I stayed here with my parents as we had to attend a funeral in Ipplepen. It is the most delightful B&B I have ever stayed in. John & Margaret are the best host and they know when to chat and when to leave you alone. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The Breakfast is brilliant. You have your own lounge...

We stayed at Elmwood House on our way to a funeral in February. Frankly, we needed a bit of cosseting and that is exactly what we got. The owners were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The house was characterful, beautifully warm and clean and the bedroom was huge with everything we needed including a flat screen tv, tea making facilities...

“All rooms are lovely”

“Ask for the room with a balcony, with the view out onto the front aspect of the property, shear bliss to open the door and let the sounds of the dawn chorus in. Also the sound of the Church Bells rolling down the hill on a Sunday morning. My rating says it all.”
