Had my sister to stay for the weekend and decided to go for lunch at our local pub. As always they didn't disappoint we all chose different dishes and they were all thoroughly enjoyed. The young waiters were very attentive and polite particularly Jack and Ben. Highly recommend this pub which also has a lovely beer garden.

We had a light lunch comprising of sandwiches, more like doorstep sandwiches, these were served with chips. The service was pleasant and friendly, the sandwiches were quite pleasing and the chips were not greasy and much appreciated. The atmosphere in this establishment is very casual and relaxed . We definitely be eating cooked meals next time in the near future...

A charming pub with a real 1950's retro thing going on. Great food (except we didn't have room for pudding) and brilliant service to boot. Really loved the eggs benedict for breakfast too. Highly recommended

Only stayed one night, on the Thursday before Easter. Room large and had view of the river. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again if in the area. Slight problem with the time the shower took to warm up but nothing to worry about. Staff very friendly.

Really nice inn and the room was of a generous size and clean. Mattress was a little soft and very warm but that's a personal preference. Really accessible location, plenty of parking and decent value for a weekend away.

Warm welcome for both us and our dog. Tj got his own bag of treats! Laura was most helpful at all times and so was Steven when we made our booking. Food is of good quality and great choice.Great location for the new forest and coast

We stayed in the Coach House annex with a dog. The location is great, very good food and beer and the staff were helpful and friendly before and after our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The only slight drawback was that the bathroom was on the small side.

Warmly welcomed by all staff. Loved that there was fresh milk and filter coffee in the room. Quiet location and good food in the pub. Dog was made welcome and even offered water at dinner time. One of the best Full English breakfasts I've had.
