We arrived lateish in the evening but were given a very warm and friendly welcome by the host. We were immediately shown to our front bedroom and also supplied with a flask of fresh milk, not those plastic milk holders. The room was warm and the bed comfortable. The matress some people would say was hard, but to us it...

Antony has done a great job with this B&B. Although the room was small compared to some it had everything we needed with a modern ensuite and there is also a guests lounge where we had a welcome tray on arrival. The breakfast was superb and Antony was well prepared for my wife's gluten free requirements. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two nights in this lovely little B&B. The owner was very welcoming. We would be very happy to stay there again and enjoy the lovely breakfast again and again. Very easy to find and in a lovely location.

We booked both rooms as it was very close to a wedding we were attending. It was a great decision as Anthony was very helpful even before we arrived. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep! Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. Highly recommend.

First impression was the bad smell when entering property. Room smelt a little better but still musty/ damp. Small room and en-suite facilities would have been acceptable had the bed been more comfortable than the floor. Its very very hard. If you like lots of room on surface to make a drink or place toiletries in the bathroom to wash,...

Comfortable stay. Not the biggest room but nice en-suite. Superb breakfast cooked by the very pleasant landlord. Excellent location in the Forest of Dean close to everything and some beautiful views. We were also very pleased that we could take our dog with us and for a small charge of £5. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed here for two nights really enjoyed it, Tony is a great host and goes out his way to help if he can. Personally the bed was too firm, but this is preference and no fault of the b&b. The breakfast was absolutely to die for with thick cut bacon, and I mean thick, and very tasty. Overall it...

The host Tony is a real gent who happily helped me out when my car unfortunately broke down whilst staying there, the room I stayed in was very comfortable with everything you need for a enjoyable stay. However my favorite thing about this b&b has to be the superb cooked...

Small but perfectly formed. Only 2 rooms, one double and one twin, but superb in every way. Tony clearly takes a huge amount of pride in everything from the rooms, the towels, the cleanliness and the excellent breakfast. Hand cut bacon, local eggs, homebaked bread with homemade preserves as well for breakfast, on top of porridge, juices etc. Tony has...
