On arival the staff were really helpful and courtious unfortunatly halfway through our stay we were hit by a really bad storm again the staff couldnt do enough to help will definatly be returning there this summer hoping for better weather
First time in the Forest of Dean and glad we picked this site. Fantastic location with amazing dog walks and cycle paths right on the doorstep. We even walked from the campsite to Yats rock without using a road once.

A lovely campsite, facilities are good and clean. Very dog friendly with lots of walks, and great for cycling too. There is a nearby cycle centre with different trails to suit differing abilities. Will definitely return
Yes, about an hour/an hour and a half to walk there, a few different routes from the campsite so can come back a different way if you want. Can walk by the river (leaving from main campsite area) to gt you to the pubs along... More
Yes, about an hour/an hour and a half to walk there, a few different routes from the campsite so can come back a different way if you want. Can walk by the river (leaving from main campsite area) to gt you to the pubs along the river then very steep but short climb up to Symonds Yat itself or walk through woodlands to be flat for the duration (trail starts about 3/4 min walk back along driveway of campsite).
