My wife and I (and our dog) spent one night in the Hayloft in December on our way to Holyhead. Jayne the owner gave us a great welcome complete with mince pies and cups of tea. Our room was lovely, clean and quiet and with a beautiful en suite. Jayne gave us great recommendations for dinner that evening. The breakfast... More

Clean, friendly and set in lovely surroundings, this is a great B&B with everything that that you'd want, peace, quiet, a tasty, bespoke, breakfast, lovely rooms and lots of local knowledge, if you want it. Also an interesting place if you're interested in photography as the rooms have examples of the host's work. They should give classes to other B&B... More

We stayed only one night, but enjoyed it. The room (Places) was a bit small. But the view out the window was really nice. Food was awesome. A really nice fruit tray. Being greeted with a pot of tea and biscuits helped sooth our travelers nerves after a long day on the motorways. The B&B is located away from the... More

Stayed for the weekend and had a great time. Wonderful welcome, lovely room, great advice about places to eat and things to do and excellent breakfast. Maureen and Dennis were excellent hosts and could not have been more helpful. Lots of lovely little touches like chocolates in the rooms and some lovely framed photographs taken by Dennis on their travels.... More

The Hayloft is a really lovely B&B in a quiet and secluded spot, yet very near to interesting places to visit. Our room was extremely comfortable, with great views over the surrounding countryside. Maureen was very welcoming and helpful and her breakfasts are wonderful. I heartily recommend The Hayloft and would certainly stay there again in the future.

The Hayloft is everything it says 'on the label' - comfortable, friendly and in a superb position. Maureen makes you feel at home the minute you step in the door. Her breakfast will set you up for the day.

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Hayloft for a nearby wedding. It's a lovely building with great views, but what I really appreciated were Maureen's little touches - such as binoculars to bird watch, lots of lovely tea bags in the room, sweets and fruit etc.It was clean and comfortable, quiet and private. The breakfast was really... More

Yes, the cosy bedroom with its big comfy bed and peaceful rural location, on top of a lovely warm welcome from Maureen made us feel immediately at ease in the Hayloft - making us feel so at home and relaxed. I have to admit though that the same 'home from home' parallels cannot be made with regard to breakfast -... More

Maureen and Dennis were fantastic hosts; sharing their photos and stories about all their travels. The bedroom was small (Fauna) but perfectly formed with lovely little touches. We tried the hot tub one evening- great for star watching and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing and tailored exactly to what we asked for. We had a really great and relaxing time.... More

We received a warm and friendly welcome on our arrival and given good coffee and delicious home made cake, sitting with our host and hostess and having a chat. The Hayloft is a beautifully and tastefully converted barn. The bedrooms are all en suite with every comfort one could wish for, with extensive pastoral views. The breakfasts were excellent, with...
