A contemporary hotel a stones throw away from the town centre. Stayed just one night but all was good, I would say a little overpriced for its location. Staff very pleasant, and helpful. Didn't dine their, only breakfast but service and food standard good. Would recommend if the room rate was lower.

This hotel has 4 stars which it certainly does not deserve and which are misleading. This hotel is in a very unattractive setting, ugly car park to the front and the back, no garden, no tree, no flowers, absolutely no place to sit outside. The interior is decorated in dark/sombre colours and one feels entombed. The menu in the evening... More

Positives- Room was good and clean staff were very warm and friendly Negatives- room was roasting and had no ac. A cleaner opened the door and walked in at 11 am when we were in bed without knocking which i thought was pretty poor. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. For coeliacs, you simply cannot risk eating here. Not even their... More

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are so pleasant and more than helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, only quibble was that it was too warm even with the window open. The shower was fantastic. We had breakfast on all three days of our stay and had no complaints. All in all, great value for money

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Groupon deal. On arrival we had to wait 5 minutes for a member of staff to turn up at reception. We checked in then headed to our room, our keycard wouldn't open our door. When we eventually got in to our room it was apparent that it... More

For a four star, almost £100 per night hotel, you have certain expectations. While I can't fault the staff, all the "modern" grey and black can't hide that this hotel needs a real freshen up. The rooms and halls all have relaly squeeky floors, the rooms are quite small, even our deluxe double and things just feel old. The hair... More

The service in this place is shockingly bad....the waiter made no effort whatsoever - just mumbled everything...Didn't ask us for drinks order...gave us napkins which were crumpled and damp....had to ask for drinks menu....had to ask twice for sides...had to ask for an extra glass as didn't give us enough (only three of us)...on the plus side food when it...
