We stayed one night here and I was not taken either with Fowey or this hotel. Whilst the room had a nice view out to the river it was not particularly smart although it was clean and comfortable. Being next to a rip-off car park I guess it gets noisy in summer as ear plugs were provided by the hotel.... More

We had the most amazing four meals. The first meal was Fish pie which was delicious so much fish & the belly of pork was amazing the sauce was so yummy. The crab salad was so lovely with delicious bread, the lamb was very tasty, highly recommend!!!

Yum! You know the feeling, you have just come back from a long walk and have worked up an appetite and nothing but a Sunday roast will do!! And a glass of wine of course. The King is perfect, great atmosphere and an even greater plateful of food. A traditional roast with all the trimmings and out of season there... More

This was the best Sunday lunch I have eaten in out in ages. So tasty!!! Excellent selection of veg and fantastic portion sizes. The whole meal was great. Would definitely recommend for Sunday lunch. Just a shame I live at the other end of the country otherwise I would be back every week!

The staff was very accommodating with our early walking schedule breakfast was served early for us. Room are a nice and spacious with most over looking the quay. As I said the Location... More

A wonderful hotel in a fabulous location with beautiful views of the estuary. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, extremely clean and well looked after. Food is amazing, especially the breakfast, always served hot and very good quality. We had a fantastic stay..... Our only slight criticism is the shower pressure on the top floor and limited wi-fi, however, this... More

My family and I stayed in Fowey for a week in September. We normally would not go to the same place twice, but we went three times. The prices are very reasonable, slightly more expensive than your average pub, but the meals are fantastic. There are ample selections of Cornish Ales and beers/lagers etc - so no problems there. I'd... More

We popped down to Fowey whilst on holiday in Cornwall and came down to meet some friends for lunch. We sat inside and just made last orders for lunch which was 2pm. My husband and me ordered the crab sandwich with chips. Wow what beautiful crab it was, very fresh and extremely tasty. Came in doorstep bread. Highly recommended.

We visited Fowey, in southwest Cornwall as a last minute booking. We were lucky to find a hotel room available at such late notice, and right in the town centre too! We know the King of Prussia pub from previous visits - just a traditional old pub we thought ... Well, what a surprise when we got into the room!... More
