My daughter organised her Wedding Breakfast / drinks/ canapes / disk jockey / evening buffet here. All the rooms of the hotel were also booked out for guests. The venue was perfect. High quality meals, the wedding breakfast was outstanding, and so was the evening buffet, and breakfast the morning after. The table service was fast, efficient, and friendly. I...

I took my parents for lunch and from the moment we were greeted at the reception until the moment the staff said farewell we were very well looked after by all of the staff,a real credit to the hotel. The Xmas menu was excellent . A very good selection. The food was very well presented, very hot and extremely tasty....

We arrived and were welcomed really warmly and genuinely, we were shown to our rooms which were great, well equipped with a lovely bathroom, and well decorated. We then went for the early bird evening meal which was genuinely brilliant, near gourmet standard (particularly the first course of cheese panna cotta) and very reasonably priced considering the fab quality. Most importantly it was a clean room, nicely decorated and pleasant staff. Bathroom was a decent size, bedroom was quite small and no shower. Would return again if needing accommodation in that area. Limited parking if there is something on would be my downfall.

Stayed here recently for a friends wedding for one night. Food was great, room was very nice and clean with views over the garden. Staff on the lounge bar, Alex and Emma made you feel really welcome and we're very helpful.

Booked four rooms for a special birthday week-end. Spent the day at Beamish Museum then made our way to the hotel. Rooms very nice and clean and lovely fresh bathrooms, decorated to an excellent standard. We were 3 generations celebrating Grandads 70th birthday. We all enjoyed the evening dinner and appreciated the excellent professional staff. The small errors that occurred...
