Staff are really friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Very busy decor but comfy room one single and a double with ample tea coffee and complimentary biscuits. Room needed a good dust. Can't comment on ford or bar. Can be a bit noisy with doors banging and creaking. Free car park and lovely location by river. Wifi sometimes not...

Great weekend spent here. Very comfy spotless room. Vincent greeted us & checked us in. Very friendly guy who also served us later in the bar, nothing was to much trouble, definitely stay here again, very good value for money. Tea coffee & nice biscuits in room also complimentary toiletries.

We stayed here for the ESAA Athletics Championships last week, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful to some very weary travelers. Rooms were fine and we all enjoyed the food, curry night was excellent and the breakfasts ( we tried both the continental & the weekend cooked) were really good. We parked at the hotel and walked...

Stayed here last night and have to say it was really value for money,called the day before to ask if we could get into our room early as was off to see mrs browns boys in the afternoon and was told no problem!! arrived and Andrew was very welcoming and couldnt help us enough......................breakfast was superb!! full english is highly...

good friendly..hotel..Andy..couldn't be more helpful ..would stay there any time all staff very friendly ...Little out the way,but taxi only £6..about..40 min steady walk along the river bank To Newcastle centre..were there's pubs every where

stayed here for the second time in about 6 months due to the cost and location. my partner and I use this as a base when we are out in Newcastle. the rooms are basic but very clean and the staff are very friendly we'll definitely use this hotel again in the future

Me and my fiancée stayed in this hotel after going to a concert in Newcastle on a Saturday night we arrived back there at around 1.30am. At 4am in the mornin we were woken by a drunk group shouting and banging as they couldn't get in there room. Then 5.30 am arrived, and the group arrived in room next door...

After my first visit I swore I would not book this hotel again. My grand daughter wanted her wedding there so we decided to give it another try. We were told we would be put in touch with their wedding planner. We paid £1350 deposit to them towards the wedding........... I was proved right about this place when the planner...

Lovely meal today, very friendly attentive staff, lovely setting, good value for money the restaurant was very busy but the staff greeted us warmly and showed us to the table, service was quick and the food good, we will definitely return

My parents held their Ruby Wedding anniversary party here and it was great, the room was beautifully decorated and the food was lovely, staff were so helpful and friendly. We all stayed for the night and the rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast was really nice. The staff even warned a group of young guests who were also...
