The Garth is a good hotel with very friendly staff. We had to eat alone in the boardroom, because we had our small dog with us (she could have been left in the room, and we could have eaten in the restaurant, which woudl have been much better) Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately,... More

My husband and I decided to break up a long trip with an overnight stay at the Garth. The receptionist was very nice and even accompanied us to our room. It was a great room with a lovely annex, a four poster bed and a nice size bathroom. The shower the next morning was awesome! We had a few drinks... More

Room was awful very hard beds could hardly sleep, very dated room, shower room was the size of a cupboard and black mold on shower walls. Food was good but very over priced as was the hotel room. Wont be back.

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant also of a high standard. Grantown golf course is also within walking distance to the hotel. Just in case you have a malt from the bar which has many varieties.

Grabbed a single room for a very competitive price during half term. Great value for money with a welcoming team during a very busy time. My room was described as "budget" and whilst small, was well laid out and everything required was on hand. Breakfast was freshly prepared and of good quality. I was warm and comfy and would go... Average accommodations with ample parking and a good restaurant and lounge. Easy to locate. Sitting room off the lobby to read a paper, curl up with a book, or to catch up on social media. Shopping close by.

Visited for dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive. We opted for the lamb and chicken curry dishes. Both were properly cooked, full of flavour and well presented. Our desserts were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would be happy to go back.

Had a lovely sitting area overlooking the gardens in our room. Enjoyed a good meal, super breakfasts - best omelet ever - and a night at the pub during our three night stay touring northern Scotland. Very happy with our stay.

We stayed here at the beginning of September. Me and my husband had a double room, and our daughters had a twin room. The twin room was much bigger, but both had problems with the shower in the bathroom. The shower worked ok but even though we tucked the curtain in there was still a large puddle of water on...
