We booked this at the last minute when it was Hobson's choice. Lovely, bay windowed room with generous en-suite. Breakfasts - not a lot of choice and slow service but very tasty and well cooked. Our problem was the stairs - to get to breakfast room it is down a half flight, up a half flight to residents lounge then...

While this hotel was comfortable and clean, it felt a little old-fashioned and the bedroom could benefit from refurbishment. - candlewick bedspreads and lemon-yellow bathroom suite. Having said that, it was all perfectly adequate. We had a bar meal in the evening, which was good and the beers are great! Breakfast next morning was good. Car park behind. WiFi was...

Stayed 2 nights, everything was more than adequate. Check in was great, the young lady was really nice. The town itself is beautiful , the people in the local pub were so friendly, and a lot of fun. At check out, the lady was really friendly and we had a chat for a few minutes. Just really nice people.

We used the Seafield Lodge as a base for a skiing holiday in February this year after undertaking a google search for dog-friendly accommodation near The Lecht. It really could not have been better for us. We stayed in the Trout suite which suited us perfectly (three generations and a dog) and gave us plenty of space. The spa bath...

I've not stayed anywhere else in town so can't comment on how this compares. On the upside we loved the evening meal and breakfast. Couldn't get the wifi to work at all. Mattress seemed cheap and uncomfortable. Other reviewers either had great or poor rooms. Think we had the latter. Wouldn't avoid for those reasons but next time would check...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Every thing was more than perfect: food, accommodation, very friendly and professional staff, lovely bedroom and spotless ensuite bathroom. Very nice views, especially from the luxurious visitors' lounge. Exceptional! Most highly recommended indeed!

We (Jake & Anna) loved it here! We arrived after a long drive from the Isle of Skye and were warmly welcomed by the manager. She told us that because there was only one other couple staying there at the moment, we had been upgraded to a better room than we had booked, albeit for the same price. The room...

We were very disappointed with our tired 70's style room and bathroom which did not even have a shower. It looked as if it had not been decorated for 25+ years. For £95.00 a night it was a complete rip off. When we went down to dine, we were told we had to eat in the bar, not the dining...

All in all, a pretty poor stay. Shower did not produce warm/hot water and the dated bathroom had a step up to it from the bedroom. Very dangerous! The place is a maze of rooms and this and that, some parts better kept than others. The chef's specials never seemed to change from day to day and while some of...
