Our hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had a lovely spacious room. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The nearby walks in the forest were delightful.

Last minute desicion to get away for a few days. We had the family room (room no.1) which had plenty of room for 3. Beds very comfortable and shower and toilet was spotless. Even though the hotel was full the I could not fault the service and we enjoyed breakfast. Had a great few days away and would go back... More

We stayed here in August 2016 for two nights. Stephen and Virginia were very helpful hosts. Excellent food and the rooms were very clean. There was plenty of parking at the back of the guest house and we would definitely go back.

We rocked up on our bikes after dinner after a slight scheduling mishap with another B&B a few towns away. Steve and Ginnie were incredibly welcoming for us at the last minute and we ended up in a beautiful room and a wee dram as a nightcap. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing option in a stressful moment.... More

We spent great three nights in this house. Stephen likes to talk and gives the evenings a special thing to it. We enjoyed trying different kind of Whiskys with him and the if you like something different - his selfmade Sloe Gin is worth a try! Even if it's not Christmas... Just watch out if you go for a run... More

Thank you to Steve for a friendly and wonderful stay. The breakfast is good with multiple choices, room very comfortable and that excellent shower pressure...nice!!! If you don't have a plan in place for the day, Steve will send you on your way in great detail. When you get back, go to the lounge for a wee dram and warm... More

Had a lovely stay here over 3 days. Nice owners, nice room and lovely breakfast. Great location too. Very hospitable and generous, recommended to anyone wanting a homely stay somewhere rather than an standard hotel room

Terribly overpriced, you can have a better 4-star hotel for less money. Photo's and description on the website make it look much better than reality. The owner made a scene because we asked a better room (that was vacant) at a higher price. Breakfast was OK.

We try to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay at Dunallan. However we rely on guests to behave within boundaries and to respect us and our other guests. In this case, the guests arrived very late at night, and brought a large, aggressive, untrained dog which was left alone in the room at breakfast, barking loudly. All our... More

We stayed at the Dunallan House for three nights and had a great time. We stayed in room number 7 on the top floor. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for suitcases. The bathroom next door was excellent with a large bathtub and a shower with great water pressure! The B&B was in a great location... More

Great stay in this lovely house. Lovely large bedroom with balcony looking over to hills. Peaceful location but central for local amenities. Good breakfast selection cooked fresh to order. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.
