I recently visited this hotel for a 2 night stay. There is very good disabled access with a rank to the reception and a through floor push button lift up to the first floor. However there is no dedicated adapted disabled toilet anywhere in the hotel. The staff were exceeding friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfy, clean and...

The room was freezing, heating working sporadically. The floors are creaky and rooms not sound proof at all- we could hear other guests talking next door. There is no bath, just a shower- not ideal when travelling with a baby. I found it very peculiar and inconvenient that there is no basin in the bathroom- only in the bedroom. The...

We had a sea view room which was spacious and clean and a magnificent view out over the waterways and sea. Breakfast consisted of various choices to suit all tastes including the full English which...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and found it very good and reasonably priced. The only criticism...

We Had a lovely room groundfloor it was perfect, we had a dog and he was welcome. I thought the price they charged for him was a bit steep. He is a lovely clean dog and we always take a throw to cover the beds up.so he does not make a mess. The room was clean enough, only i wish...

Stayed at the Kensington for a long weekend. Could not fault the staff and friendly atmosphere. However, although notices around the building say that refurbishments are being made, the carpets on the stairs were very dirty. Overall whole hotel needs a spruce up. Had an evening meal in the bar which was alright and breakfast were good. Service at breakfast...
