Awful room, breakfast was awful half only was cooked fully napkin full of hairs black bits floating in the milk jug and the tea was too strong from the pot, musty smell as soon as you walk through the front door, scruffy looking staff, only one good thing was free car park.

They have got bed bugs. Me and my husband, have bites. Looked at night with touches to find little disgusting bugs in a stained mattress. We were horrified. We wanted to leave in the middle of the night but could not as we had two younger kids fast asleep. We had the night from hell. The room and bathroom was... More

A very friendly and comfortable stay breakfast was excellent. The place itself is in need of some tlc in the decoration department ,but for the price it's ok. Rooms were clean and comfortable and you can see where they are updating. It has a great location for shops and beach.

Unfortunately my friend booked this one without checking any reviews. If this isn't the worst place in Britain I would hate to see what is. The whole place absolutely reeked of cooking fat to the point of suffocation- I am not exaggerating. It was filthy and stains were on the carpet, walls, ceiling and bedding. The decor was dated and... More

We stayed at this hotel 14th August. It isn't luxury but you don't want to spend holiday in hotel. It has all you need. Breakfast was lovely. Lady who served breakfast was so nice. Wouldn't recommend if you're disabled. Gent who saw us in was very friendly and helpful. Not luxurious but get what you pay for.

Having been booked here for 5 nights, i only managed 2 as i couldn't stand how revolting this place was. Dirty, smelly sheets, the whole place smelt of cigarette smoke, a dirty bathroom. I felt so uncomfortable. The 2 staff i saw at the start were actually pleasant enough but not enough to save what was the worst place i... More

Only believe the bad views if you're a snob. We booked the hotel at the last minute and I loved Fawlty Towers the TV show. The staff were very friendly and the location is perfect, right on the front next to the main shopping strip. Parking is free behind the hotel which saves you a fortune on it's own. The... More

We stayed on the 28th and wanted to check out before we even checked in. We was showed through via court yard which was full of rubbish and washing that looked like it had been there a week. Our room was room 9 and it was awful. The wardrobe was almost falling over with the back half missing. A unit... More

I booked this before reading the reviews so was prepared for things to be a little rough around the edges but didn't believe it could be as bad as people had described. Unfortunately it was worse than I could have imagined and other people's photos do not give the full picture of how grimy and smelly it was. We travelled... More
