Thankfully a short walk from Halifax town centre, although this is a grim affair. It depends really on whether you like old mills heritage - this is set within a huge complex of old mill buildings, whilst formidable it's also a little daunting and claustrophobic almost. If you're looking for nearby shops, don't. It's merely a functional complex, you need a car - parking plentiful. So, when you're in, 'you're in' . . the usual attached bar/restaurant. Room as ever very comfortable but a hugely disappointing and limited selection of TV channels, shower nasty step up and no interior/exterior mats so slip hazard. Resent having my phone provider text me saying that I was up to 50% of my 'outside talk allowance' as a result of premium rated Travelodge booking centre call. Sleep quality affected by something whirring all night, outlook - car park and M62 feed.

Cheap and cheerful hotel but room was a decent size and comfortable. The few staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking at the weekend. No breakfast but a great cafe called the Engine Room is located just down the block

Come for a one night stay outside clean and tidy reception area well kept the vending machine drinks are expensive so make sure you bring some snacks and drinks good views of the mills from the rooms and nice stone walls to the room the problems with this visit was the bathroom was not very clean white streak stains down side of the bath and the sink area brown marks at the bottom of the bath and the table in room 201 is broken and has a dangerous sharp bit of wood sticking out on the table near the tv and the chair on the desk as shown in pics probably would not stay again maybe next time try the primer inn.

Arrived and was promptly seen to by a professional and courteous receptionist. She answered all our questions quickly and efficiently. She was even there to say goodbye in the morning - a really nice touch.

Needing a central location for a wedding party in Halifax my son recommended the Travel Lodge in The Mill. It was superb value for a nights stay (£29) great food next door, and more than adequate parking.
