Beautiful house & garden, bedroom good size, note on bed ( room 4, very pink, twin beds) not to put anything on the bed if not being used or you will be charged £15 for launder of sheets ! Can't use more then two pillows or again charged for laundering, shoes to be taken off at the front door on... More

Friendly hostess and spotlessly clean accommodation. Found that, although our room was comfortable, it had very little usable surface space due to a lot of non-essential nicknacks covering them. Less is most definitely more. Luckily I had my own hairdryer with me but, unfortunately, not my own travel kettle as we found the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the... More

I stayed here for 2 days a week for the best part of a year whilst working locally. It was a great place to stay. The price was good, the room was comfy and the cooked breakfast was something to look forward to. Linda and Clive always made you feel welcome. Great place, I'd recommend it to anyone. The area... We were a party of 2 staying at Waratah lodge for 1 night due to working nearby and what a wonderful stay we had. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The house is very clean and with lots of choice for breakfast which was... More

OK if you have read other reviews then you know all about the no shoes saga. To us this was not a problem and in any case slip-on's are available on request. What's wrong with a pre ordered breakfast if this can be changed as long as you ask in time. Look on the plus side; breakfasts are gargantuan and... More

Had a one night stay whilst down for a family funeral. Impeccably clean home and perfect hosts. Very comfortable room and excellent bed. Lovely breakfast and Linda even provided a jug of warm water to defrost my car windows. A warm welcome and an even Warner farewell. Can't fault it at all.

Most reviewers have mentioned the no shoe rule. It really was no big deal and I didn't give it a second thought until I read the other reviews. It was no trouble, kept the place clean and even though a paying customer, it's still someone's home and I feel one must respect the house owners' preferences. We were made very... More

Pleasant couple; clean and tidy; great breakfast; good price. What's more to be said! No shoes policy. Our room was a bit fussy. We are quite minimalistic. No tea/coffee facilities in room. These are minor observations not criticisms!
