Mick and Jenny are friendly and amenable hosts and the accommodation is far from the typical B&B. Firstly, there are no other guests so it is completely independent, private and peaceful. It is also very spacious - a long open plan loft space above the garages/storage space looking out onto green meadows and to the waters of Chichester harbour beyond.... More

We luckily got ourselves a last minute reservation at The Coach House and it was really wonderful. Spacious and comfortable, with loads of food stocked in the kitchen, lovely surroundings and Jenny and Mick were lovely and helpful hosts. The only downside was that we could only stay one night as it is so popular. We will definitely be coming... More

The accommodation offers complete privacy in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Breakfast is continental style, with ample selection and plenty to keep you going whilst exploring the Hampshire and Sussex coast. Most definitely the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at.

Very pleasant stay. No hesitation in returning. Absolutely my preferred stay in the greater Portsmouth area. Jenny and Mick have now added wi-fi, that is fine for simple stuff like email. It should be clear from the photographs that access is up an outside staircase. This is much more stable than it looks in the photo's and is perfectly fine,... More

This is a lovely place to stay .spotlessly clean and peaceful with very caring owners . We stayed in the detached coach house for 3 nights last weekend , our second visit . The accomodation is large and cosy , all we could ask for .slightly off the beaten track in rural north hayling you can see the Sea from... More

An idyllic B&B that feels more like a private retreat! Was greeted warmly upon arrival by the lovely owners who helped us carry our luggage and get settled into our cosy accommodation. The kitchenette was full to the brim with drink and food which catered to our unusual dietary requirements. The room looked over the house grounds with a beautiful... More

After struggling to find any accommodation on the island for a one night stay, my partner found the coach house online for myself and my daughter to stay at. From the moment we pulled onto the property and were greeted by our fantastic hosts jenny and mike, we knew we had made the right choice. This couple could not be... More

It's been over four years since our last visited here so my wife decided to book a night here for my birthday. It's changed a little over the years, it has some kitchen units now providing a little more in the way of self catering options, no oven or anything...but there is a toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and plenty of... We've just arrived back from a wonderful weekend with Mick and Jenny Stenning at the Coach House. I can honestly say that this is the best B & B we have ever stayed in and far exceeds any hotel accommodation we have found. The room is amazing - enormous, clean and warm, with beautiful rural views. The breakfasts were of... More

We arrived late afternoon to find the hosts waiting for us but ready to head off ito the pub in their electric blue Aston Martin DB6. We had imagined from photos that the room would be half of the building, it was the whole building. Unfortunately the shower is small and light on pressure, apart from that everything is a... More
