My family and I stayed at Woodyhyde campsite for 5 nights and had a great time. The campsite consists of three fields and has two shower/toilet blocks and a shop on site. The place is very quiet and calm, even during the summer holidays and had a chilled out feel to it. The only noise we heard was from a... More

We arrived, it was easy to find, but there was no one to direct us, and being our 2nd experience of camping, we were not sure if we should just pitch up. In any case, we did pitch up, and someone did help (not sure if staff or camper) and it was fine. It has the railway track running right... More

We just spent one night at this campsite but what a find. we booked last minute and turned up in the late afternoon, the shop was shut so we parked up in the first field there were two others but we liked the relatively quiet atmosphere. The Campsite is right next to the Swanage railway so every hour or so... More

Just returned from a wonderful week camping at Woodyhyde. The facilities are everything you need, clean hot showers, hair dryers, a large sink that is great for bathing little ones (we used it for our 3 year old), adequate washing up facilities, plus of water points. Lawrence in the shop is packed full of local information, and the site is... More

We have come here on a regular basis, and always have a cracking time. Some of the facilities can be a bit basic, but every year I see that they are being improved. Location makes it convenient to get to nearby points of interest. Showers, toilets, washing up stations and a campsite shop, as well as electrical points for some... More

We have stayed here many times in the past and always have a great time, facilities may be a little basic but every year there seem to be more improvements. There are showers, toilets and a shop, what else do you need when your camping??? For a very reasonable £8 a night i'm sure we will keep going back each... More

Had a lovely weekend with friends. Facilities are basic but good and there is a shop if you've forgotten anything crucial. Surroundings are very picturesque and Corfe is walkable in about half an hour

Three fields to choose from (camp where you want), 2 for dog owners, 1 without dogs, plenty of space, some fairly basic toilet and shower facilities but ok for a couple of days, a well-stocked shop (except no bread and a fairly grumpy shop manager!), right next to the Swanage steam train line which was great for our 3 year... Woodyhyde is a lovely campsite. Some find it basic but that is part of the charm. Excellent views of castle from middle field and steam train on field one. Have been going there for years as has everything we need.

We went with our family and friends. When pre booked a while ago. On arrival we booked in at the shop and was told we could pitch anywhere, we had electrical hook up. They showed us on map all the hook up pitches. We went to field 3 plenty of room. Despite the weather rain and wind the holiday was... More
