I stayed in this lovely hotel while there on business, the size of the bed and the room was impressive as well as the bathroom, the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast is next door in the Rose N Crown which is very nice.
The tasting menu was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff offered a faultless service both in the restaurant and hotel. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. A wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
My Sister-In-Law and now new Brother-In-Law married here last week. We had done the obvious searches before hand looking at food, rooms etc and could not have been happier as the pictures simply don't do it justice. The venue is perfect for a Wedding and...More

I always have my suspicions about rave reviews. Yours certainly makes me think twice about spending time not to mention money at Belle Epoque.
In your estimation, Jackie, what do you think accounts for the 5 Star reviews in light of your bad experience. Is it a staffing problem or time of day?
We want to travel to Knutsford in remembrance of General Patton. We're a couple old souls who want to have a look at some historic locations.
Would appreciate your advice.

You too will be made most welcome, and Belle Epoque is an excellent venue, just admire & enjoy the quaint old-fashioned English style, and don't split hairs over modern developments. You wouldn't visit a Civil War battlefield then complain about lack of Wi-fi.
