We are a family of 6 and our stay at Pickmere Country House was 9.9/10. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast homemade, healthy and delicious. If the free WiFi had been a little quicker it would have benn 10/10. The local pub had a great selection of reasonably priced delicios homemade food and some great local ales. Well... More

Nice greeting, great room, good wi-fi, good food for breakfast. Comfy bed and well furnished room. Easy to find and park. Nice 1 min walk to restaurant on the corner. But food on site looked like it would be a good option.

Massive room. Very comfy bed with quality linen. Fabulous power shower. Great breakfasts and a lovely lounge with an excellent selection of reading matter. Hosts were lovely and so is Monty the dog. Handy for Knutsford, Chester and other local attractions like Tatton Park. Only grip was small TV with very few channels.

I stayed here with my partner and some friends as we were all guests for a wedding at Wincham Hall. The rooms were beautiful and the staff very friendly, including the chef. It's a few minutes walk from the beautiful and peaceful Pickmere lake and, handily, two pubs. We had nice, relaxed breakfasts both days and the staff never made... More

Great place to stay if travelling on the M6. Easy to get to from the motorway. There are 2 pubs within 5 min walk for food. You can also eat at the hotel, but you may need to let them know in advance. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. As other reviews have mentioned, the owners dog is very friendly.... More

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. There is ample parking. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a good powerful shower. We had a second floor room which had a lovely view. For breakfast there was ample choice for vegetarians. The full vegetarian breakfast was delicious and a perfect portion size. All the buffet options were excellent... More
