We arrived and was given our rooms and was given a brief history. Its family owned which is very nice. I would have love to say I... More

I visited here on gala day for a pub meal. Couldn't fault it. I had macaroni cheese and chips which was lovely. Others had fish and chips, steak pie and enjoyed too. Great portions. Great taste. Affordable price. Good service. Would highly recommend for pub meal-would definitely go back!

Having driven past this hotel many times we finally noticed a large public car park almost next to the hotel. Went for lunch, went into the cocktail bar as first room we came to and it had a lovely coal fire - just what you need on a rainy day. The menus on the tables were for sandwiches and jacket... More

Quite abrupt service ; was on to me when I couldn't finish the colossal American style chilli burger! Huge onion rings inside a burger bun stuffed with chilli ; burger a bit rubbery and lacking texture ; [ ok so... More
