First stay at this excellent Inn. Travelled with friends in our classic MG's. Mark, an MG owner provided us with great driving routes. The welcome we got from Mark and Morag was like we were old friends. The rooms were spotless and bed you didn't want to get out of. The food cooked my Morag would put a 4star resturant... More

This is my first stay at the Hightae Inn and it definitely won’t be my last. The Hightae Inn comes highly recommended, excellent food and hospitality. Very welcoming and homely. Nice and quiet for those weary travellers looking to escape for a day or two.

Booked a stay going down and coming back from England at this lovely Inn. On both occasions the welcome couldn't have been any better from the friendly hosts Mark and Morag. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Highly recommend having dinner here as the food is locally sourced and freshly prepared and cooked by Morag. Very good breakfast... More

This is the second time we have stopped her on our way to the Highlands. The rooms re spotlessly clean and stylish. The bed was gorgeous and the white linen crisp and the towels fluffy. The owners are wonderful. Breakfasts great and the evening meal a bonus. The location is very quiet and you get a great nights sleep.

Booked the Hightae for a two night stay to visit places of interest in the area. The rooms were really nice, my brothers room had a bath, mine a nice new shower, not copies like the larger hotels. Meals were excellent and the hosts Mark, Morag and staff could not have been nicer, Marks knowledge of places to visit and... More

We chose this destination sight unseen because of its location, but having checked out its rather tempting menu. It turned out to have a charming bar restaurant with first class locally sourced food, and an extremely friendly mine host and hostess who run the place. (He looks after the bar, front of house, guests - and doubtless much else -... More

We have eaten at The Hightae Inn many times and is has become a firm favourite of ours... so when my 'better half" booked a table for another great dining experience and a room for an overnight stay in one of the inn's perfectly presented rooms he was already scoring lots of points... We stayed 3 nights at the Hightae Inn from the 29th April till 2nd of May. What a fantastic place. Mark & Morag (+ Thomas) are fantastic and so welcoming. Comfortable rooms, great food - especially the Scottish cooked breakfast and possibly the best raspberry and chocolate bread and butter pudding in the country. A great location to explore the... Many thanks for coming up from London to stay with us here in Hightae - we're glad you enjoyed yourselves. The Raspberry & Chocolate B&B pudding was a bit of an experiment (it's usually Dundee Marmalade B&B) however some great comments may make this a regular "chalked" item on the board. We'd love to have you back - just give... More
