We stayed for one night in this pleasant hotel on our way to the Isle of Arran. Very dog friendly. Rooms clean and spacious. Food delicious and very nicely presented. Norman and Sheila were entertaining hosts. Very conveniently situated for the M74.

I stayed here for a one night stopover with my wife and three children on the way up to Scotland. It reminded me of some of the hotels I used to stay in as a boy - really attentive service, a lovely homely feel, and a very relaxed atmosphere all round. Lovely little hotel, do not be put off by its dated appearance. The hotel was lovely and clean. The food was amazing, cooked by the owner Norman, we ate both at dinner and breakfast. The couple who own the hotel were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Very nice family run Hotel, was made to feel very welcome. Hotel was clean and the food was good. A bar where you can also eat is very good. A conservatory /restaurant is a lovely place to eat also.Would stay again if I was in the area without hesitation.
