I stayed for five nights in August, Both Norman and Shelia are excellent hosts. My check in was very inviting and friendly. I was in room two which had a lovely outlook over Lockerbie. The room was clean , tidy and very homely. I had meals in the hotel every night and breakfast every morning. I would be quite excited... More

Lovely little hotel, do not be put off by its dated appearance. The hotel was lovely and clean. The food was amazing, cooked by the owner Norman, we ate both at dinner and breakfast. The couple who own the hotel were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Very nice family run Hotel, was made to feel very welcome. Hotel was clean and the food was good. A bar where you can also eat is very good. A conservatory /restaurant is a lovely place to eat also.Would stay again if I was in the area without hesitation.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Inverness. It was an excellent location for us as it is only just off the M74. We decided to dine at the hotel as there didn't seem to be much on offer in Lockerbie itself. The meal was excellent - roast pork for me and gammon steak for my husband,... More

We met as a family with relatives travelling from Penrith and Lanark to meet in the middle - what a wonderful warm welcome we were given by the hosts in a charming bar room with an open fire. Once my Dad had fallen off his stool in true comedy style we asked Sheila if she would mind if we ate... More

We booked a dog friendly room which was spacious and clean. Norman and Sheila were very accommodating with our elderly cocker spaniel. We had a great curry in the bar and were made to feel very welcome.
