Reminded me of my Grandmas house and that's not a bad thing! Frances was a lovely host and presented a very well looked after house built back in 1870's. Super breakfast set us up for our drive to Oban nicely. The house is about 10 mins drive from Lockerbie. If you are travelling from mid/south England to Scotland this is...

Arrived with my friend for one night to attend a party in Boreland. Beautiful old manor house, excellent hostess, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The house was full of character and very peaceful. The rooms were clean and Francis made sure they were warm. I would recommend the experience, would definitely return.

We stayed 1 night at Corrie Lodge. Beautiful antiques, gracious hostess, 1870s area home. Lovely breakfast and very comfortable rooms upstairs. Wifi is pretty iffy but have no other negatives. If you love old estates you will love it. It's a little rural as it's an old hunting lodge. We loved it.

We phoned early in the morning to book 2 rooms and advised we were to arrive on motorbikes. On arrival Andrew had cleaned a stable out for the two bikes unfortunately the bikes were too wide to fit through the door, off we went for an evening meal and returned to find he had cleaned out a second stable. What...

Stayed just for one night en route to Scotland. Found Frances to be a very welcoming and charming host. Extremely friendly. Rooms are very comfortable with decor to match the charm of the manor house. Breakfast was very good and we were allowed as much time as we wanted to wander around the grounds and see the chickens and horse....

We stayed for one night only with our elderly mother and we so enjoyed the whole experience that we will endeavour to stay here every time that we are returning from Scotland . Generally we visit the Outer Hebrides every school holiday as we love it so much and this is the best bed and breakfast that we have found...

A charming, historic country lodge superbly run by Frances and Andrew. We were warmly welcomed by Frances who showed us our room which was full of character and charm. Our stay was enlighten by Andrew who explained the history of the house and his love for horses. We were sad to leave and would like to return one day. Congratulations...

I spent a night here and found Frances and her husband Andrew to be very welcoming. The room was large, well appointed and comfortable with a lovely view from the window looking out over the countryside. I was very tired when I arrived and elected not to drive back into Lockerbie for dinner. Frances was concerned for my welfare and...

Great place, quite traditional but huge rooms, fab countryside and the most welcoming of hosts. We stayed with 2 other couples that we know and we all thought it was delightful. As for the breakfast, you couldn't of asked for more and it was worth every penny of the cost of the room alone. Would definitely go back.
