Arriving at the hotel on a Sunday Afternoon under these strange COVID regulations one has to feel apprehensive however from start to finish we felt at ease. Check in was as smooth as we could wish for , a one way system exist which is easy to follow. The room was nice and clean, evening meal was exceptional .All members of the staff where very polite and courteous and observed full Social Distancing guidelines. Would highly recommend the hotel
Stayed a few times here rooms are beautiful and well maintained. Stayed at new part of the hotel this time and pleasantly surprised by the quality. Shower was powerful and facilities are spot on. Its a quiet area, but a short walk to the quaint village where there are bars restaurants and shops. However, bar in hotel is reasonably priced if you want to stay and enjoy the gardens. Staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food was 5 star 😘👌 Will be coming back.
The food was amazing, gorgeous rooms in the new part of the hotel but equally the rooms in the old part are incredible too. Been here a few times and will be visiting more in the near future..so quiet here with fabulas gardens. Love the staff as they are polite and very accommodating.
We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my brother & wife 40th Wedding anniversary. This was the first time we had been away since lockdown & have to say we were impressed with the safety precautions that were in place. We enjoyed a delicious familySunday ... lunch 2 tables spaced apart...food very good & staff very friendly & attentive. It was a pleasure to enjoy the lovely grounds & we were lucky to see a lovely wedding taking place outside while we enjoyed a drink & sandwiches. Room very comfortable & quiet overlooking the gardens . All in all given the current circumstances we had a really nice stay ...special thanks to all the lovely friendly staff ...you did a great job..hope to be back one day x
Hotel is in lovely grounds, covid rules very good. Staff very friendly, Food was very nice. We asked for a quiet room & was placed in the new extension, room doors do not have slow closing so very noisy! Doors banging at all hours, large group staying in rooms around us & kept congregating in corridors for chats. We did hear the mgmt ask them to disperse if not from the same household. When we mentioned this on checkout we did get an apology & a small compensation off our bill. Only other recommendation is to check your room facilities first! These new rooms had the bathroom facilities in a glass cube so if your not comfortable seeing your partner on the loo ask for another room!!
