Afternoon Tea bought as a gift - such a disappointment. I will start with a positive - lovely friendly attentive staff a credit to the Hotel . The experience started well with a box of " selected teas" to choose from , not ones for flavoured teas with afternoon tea we opted for English breakfast - presented in glass teapot...

We decided to give the Quorn Country Hotel a try due to the good value Groupon deal that was on at the time. On arrival the hotel and grounds look pretty nice, we were greeted warmly and shown to an area at the front of the hotel where a number of guests were enjoying afternoon tea. Firstly, a member of...

Came here with my mum for lunch. The service was a bit odd, nice female served us drinks but then disappeared (?) . A man served us the food and then also disappeared. The place was so quiet and we were sat in quite a dark little room. The surroundings wern't great and the standards of the toilets were poor....

Went to the Quorn Country Hotel for a friends birthday and had the burger, it was lovely! There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. I have had a Sunday lunch here previously, which was also delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the afternoon tea, which has also been...

This hotel has become quite drab and overpriced. Very tired and dated décor and furnishings, and enough wood panelling to wipe out a rainforest. Decidedly unimpressive breakfast for £10 extra. New towels & sheets dumped on the floor outside of the room by housekeeping in the morning, for the changeover when room is vacated - surely that's hardly hygienic? Sadly...

Having decided at short notice to try here for a night - I was greeted firstly on the phone then in person by courteous and friendly staff. The service and restaurant was certainly up to scratch as well. Overall a great place to stay & eat :)

The room was clean and furnished in a traditional but modern style with the furnishings in good condition. The bathroom was modern and the shower had good water pressure. The towels were warmed and dried on a heated towel rail. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We met with some friends for dinner. We'd booked our table for 8pm and had to ask several times to go to our table. Finally at 8.30 we were seated. I wouldn't mind if it was busy, but the hotel was empty and only 3 tables full. The service was awful. Really slow. Quite comical. I thought at times we...
