Good location. Clean room with nice bed and bath. Old dated furniture. Weird and unfriendly lady on reception make us feel uncomfortable not sure why? We did try to enjoy the stay anyways but won't come back.

The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff friendly and pleasant. Slight problem in the room as the two soap dispensers were empty. The shower a trickle coming from the main hot water supply so took ages to warm up unfortunately. Breakfast ordered the night before from a good selection, however on the first morning it was served with only one napkin , one set of cutlery between the two of us. The following morning one of us had ordered from the continental selection, no problem. The other from the cooked choices, but was served the same cooked breakfast as previous day! Overall would still stay there again.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. My room was very good. The location is very scenic, a stone's throw from the Great Central Steam Train line. I would definitely recommend the Cedars Hotel for anyone visiting this area.
