have stayed on a number of occasions , place is nipping clean even though the decor could do with an update. The owners are lovely and the place is comfortable . Personally I was disappointed that their evening meals were gone as they were very good . Would recommend every time .

The reviews all looked good. I was set to work away for 3 months and needed somewhere to stay 3 nights of the week. I booked the Mountsorrel, and when booking it had a "special request" section. I wrote that I would leave very early in the morning, before breakfast, and asked if it would be possible for a slice...

As a bed and breakfast this is a nice place. The problem is that booking.com are advertising it as a 4 star luxury deal and it is not. Unfortunately that is what we were expecting. The down stairs rooms are very nice and the breakfast was very good. However the bedrooms are small and basic, though the bed was comfortable....

This family-run place instantly excudes an air of friendliness. Managed to get a nice dinner after arriving late along with a bit of chit-chat to make up for an all-work day. Breakfast was nice too. I stayed in the adjacent building in a room whose interior was probably more to the taste of your aunt Mildred but which was perfectly...

Lovely tranquil setting well back from road. This place is a treasure. Comfy clean well equipped room (iron and ironing board/trouser press in ours) hot powerful shower. Beds were wonderful and the breakfast menu with just about every way of eating eggs from full English, with salmon, benedict, florentine (the list goes on). Friendly and very helpful hostess. Thoroughly recommend...

Good location to attend our son's graduation at the uni. Parking good and quick registration and payment . Room basic, a little small but bed comfy and room was clean. However the shower in the very small bathroom (sink in bedroom) had poor water pressure and thus having a good shower was hard work. Nice eggs for breakfast but rest...

My wife and I spent two nights at the Mountsorrel. Due to graduation week at Loughborough University, we were unable to book our normal B&B. Thankfully there was a spare room at the Mountsorrel. And what a choice we made. Pleasant surroundings, great room, excellent breakfast and fine hosts. We have now found our new favourite B&B in this area.

Just off the main road with easy parking off the street. We were able to check in at 1pm which was very helpful so we could change for a wedding. Check in was straight forward. Room was compact with furniture slightly dated but very clean and quiet. Shower room was fine although toilet flushes for a long time and extractor...

I decent place to stay providing there is no door slamming wedding party staying which is usually of a weekend. The rooms are well presented, clean & tidy with the usual facilities and the breakfasts are exceptional with a wide choice of well sourced, prepared and served produce.

Worth every penny. The room though not large had a comfortable bed and all the basic amenities and is the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. We had a warm welcome and check in was quick and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Well worth another visit if we are in the area again.
