Just stayed one night but doubt we would return.
Pros - reasonable price, large room, lots of parking.
Cons - dated decor, no info upon arrival about check out or breakfast sign up (didn’t bother and went for breakfast in Southwold), poor/average shower.

Yes you can go to pleasure wood hills which is a theme park for all ages. Pets corner for younger children say 3 years and under. Pirate Pete's which is a big indoor play area with lots of things to do, cafe inside, Suitable for all ages up to 12 years. St Nicholas Everest park is very good for children as can feed the ducks and squirrels, outdoor swimming pool, little fair rides, bouncy castle, park with swings, slides etc, trampolines, couple of cafes. On the broads so can see boats going by. Lovely park. Also have the north and south beaches. North beach has woods, and pill boxes, nice walks beach is all stones. South beach is sand and has a nice promenade to walk on with lots of food stalls, cafes, ice cream, roller skating, pubs, amusements, etc.
There is lots to do in the area for adults and children.
