Our stay completely ruined by the handling of an incident whereby our car was damaged in the hotel's car park by some idiot with a key scratching the side of it next to the driver's door. We reported the damage in the morning after our first night's stay and asked if they had CCTV. The very helpful lady on duty...

I stay regularly at the Wisteria - 5 times a year when on a weekend course. I usually share a twin room but last weekend I had to stay in a single room for the first time. I was disappointed that there was a supplement for a single room as many hotels no longer do this. When I share a...

My husband and I stayed here for one night. Our room was clean however, it was a little tired and quite bland.... could do with a lick of paint and maybe a few pictures on the bare walls. Staff were very professional & friendly, very good breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel is well situated with only a short...

Bed and breakfast establishment with no dinner option. Accommodation clean neat tidy and commodious. Staff efficient and courteous. Stayed several times now without complaint. Breakfast, consistently adequate highlighting tinned grapefruit on the meager buffet. There is a poorly stocked bar which never seems to have much custom. Ok for business overnighting and B&B with anonymity. ccustom

Was very surprised that we had to pay upon arrival, never had to do this before especially as we had paid a deposit. A very tired looking hotel with dated decor. We had a problem that the heating wasn't working and it was December, they did provide us with an electric heater though. The room was basic but the bed...

A hotel centurally situated to visit the surrounding area of Rutland. Perfect base for people going cycling around Rutland water. Car parking at the rear of the hotel but, easy to miss the entrance onto a longish drive. Two minutes walk into the centre of the town. Very friendly welcome and staff always had a smile whilst there. We had a...

Perfect location in a pretty market town, close to the centre. The rooms are spacious and the en suite too, clean bed linen and fluffy white bath towels. Full English breakfast didn't disappoint but the stand out feature is the attentive and friendly service. Good value and well worth a stay.

The 5 star rating has 3 = average and 4 = very good. If so this is 3 and a half = good. Importantly, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and warm, and decent sized. Bathroom had a bath which is always a plus. The decor is a bit old fashioned, and this 'dated' feel is...

Comfortable hotel with good sized rooms and very good attached bathrooms. In addition to free WiFi (which is common in hotels these days), there is also wired internet access in all rooms (which is unusual for us, not having come across it at other hotels where we have stayed in England). Good car park adjacent to the rooms, with the...
