Had a fabulous weekend with Hubby, sister/brother in law. Lodges are amazing and equipped with everything you could possibly need, with really comfy beds. Bubbly chilling in the fridge is a lovely touch. The guys made the most of the fishing, while we chilled & enjoyed the hot tub. Particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife, some I'd never seen before including... More

We booked Primrose lodge for our family of 3 because apart from the 5 star lodges which are directly on to the water but only sleep 2, this lodge is closest to the water and therefore less walking for my elderly husband. The lodge itself is spacious, well equipped and with the most comfortable beds we have slept in away... More

This was our second stay in Poppy lodge and once again it was 'a little piece of heaven on earth' 😀 Rachel and Roland have created our dream chill out location for a week away from the madness. They are a wonderful, friendly couple who work so hard to provide everything their customers desire, that's why there are so many... More

Booked this as a surprise for my partner in January after the busy Christmas period at work & it did not disappoint! The lodge was beautiful & fully equipped with everything we needed including a travel cot & high chair for our 2 year old. The hot tub was hot & ready to get into it & after a quick... More

The headline says it all! Our stay in Waterlily was a Christmas gift for my husband who is a keen carp fisherman. The accommodation was superb - really luxurious and every care had been taken to ensure that we wanted for nothing. The fishing was good - even though the weather was a bit unpredicable - the only comment is... More

Stayed in March 2016, last minute break again. Had a 4* lodge which had two bedrooms, one with en suite. The 5* lodges have one bedroom. The sitting area is large and comfortable and the kitchen area is modern and very well equipped. Welcome pack had Cava, bread, milk. I would recommend you bring your own salt/pepper, tea, coffee, sugar... More

These lodges are outstanding, and spotlessly clean. Rachel and Rowland should be very proud of what they have achieved here. This is our second visit to Clover lodge and the WOW factor is still there. The layout and high standard of fixtures and fittings are exceptional, and have been well thought through. The whole lodge is geared towards relaxation and... More

My boyfriend booked a stay in Poppy as a present and we visited for 3 nights in January. It was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Our lodge was located at the end of the row of lodges and was private and peaceful. Our hot tub/terrace area looked over the lake which was amazing. The lodge... More

These lodges really are beautiful. We had a relaxing break, staying in the hot tub until late and fishing during the day. The lodge was spotless and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Didn't want to leave! I went with my husband for a quiet break but will be taking our daughter next time as think she... More
