We stayed here on a short break and would thoroughly recommend the lodge we had which was called 'Poppy'. It was a luxury one bedroom wooden lodge with its own indoor sauna room and hot tub on the veranda outside. Superbly equipped, very warm and comfortable and if you are interested in fishing then that can be done from the...

An absolutely beautiful place to relax and appreciate nature, as well as great fishing. The cabins are faultless and equipped with everything you need. Luxury in every room and the hot tub is divine. Many holidays there already with many more to come.

Just back from a 7 night stay in Clover lodge at Stretton Lakes and what a lovely week it was. The lodge was gorgeous and finished to such a high standard! Fishing straight off the decking was great and my partner caught plenty of fish, sticking it out for a few days despite the cold weather! The hot tub was...

Three of us stayed on a three day fishing break, the lodge was very clean on arrival and we were amazed at how nice and spacious the interior was, fixtures and fittings were modern and the lodge was well equipped. The owners provided dressing gowns and left us a bottle of sparkling wine, and a few essentials, such as tea bags and a...

First impression of the lodge was WOW and that didn't change. Lodge was complete with all mod cons and very spacious. Hot tub added that extra touch and provided even more relaxation. Step out of the lodge (Primrose) and you are just a few metres away from the lake so you can fish at your leisure, set up in the...

We stayed for a week before Christmas and had a great stay! The lodge is beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly need. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The hot tub is a great way to start the day.

Had a fabulous weekend with Hubby, sister/brother in law. Lodges are amazing and equipped with everything you could possibly need, with really comfy beds. Bubbly chilling in the fridge is a lovely touch. The guys made the most of the fishing, while we chilled & enjoyed the hot tub. Particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife, some I'd never seen before including...

We booked Primrose lodge for our family of 3 because apart from the 5 star lodges which are directly on to the water but only sleep 2, this lodge is closest to the water and therefore less walking for my elderly husband. The lodge itself is spacious, well equipped and with the most comfortable beds we have slept in away...

This was our second stay in Poppy lodge and once again it was 'a little piece of heaven on earth' 😀 Rachel and Roland have created our dream chill out location for a week away from the madness. They are a wonderful, friendly couple who work so hard to provide everything their customers desire, that's why there are so many...

Booked this as a surprise for my partner in January after the busy Christmas period at work & it did not disappoint! The lodge was beautiful & fully equipped with everything we needed including a travel cot & high chair for our 2 year old. The hot tub was hot & ready to get into it & after a quick...
