called in as they were supposed to be dog friendly, atmosphere was cold and unwelcome as we had a dog. we were pointed towards the conservatory which was empty. staff made us feel unwelcome. would not advise any people with dogs to use this place.
My wife and I spent the weekend here and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stopped in for a drink on the way to Symonds Yat and was very pleasantly surprised. Big hotel with lots if different areas to cater for all tastes. Didn't eat but food on offer looked amazing, 3 courses £20.
We went here as it is very old, for the food and the four poster beds.
