We are celebrating an anniversary so treated my wife to a break in Ross. This hotel is very well run with very clean rooms with air conditioning in ours which was great in the muggy weather. The staff are very friendly the restaurant serving fantastic food. Breakfast is cooked to order and well worth the wait as it is all... More

First class staff at this hotel from reception, resteraunt, housekeeping, the food menu was excellent and I chose the home made steak and wine pie with mixed vegetables accompanied with chips.Excellent wine menu and I would recommend the Candidato Tempranillo "Barrica3"2013 Castilla.Spain.Well run hotel and reasonable priced rooms which were spotlessly clean as was the bathroom....Room 15 highly recommend...

We call here for lunch a couple of times a year, always a friendly welcome and good food at a reasonable price, if driving one can also park ones car which is a bonus. Prices are less expensive to mid- range and family are welcome.

Visited en route to a fishing trip with friends. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms are ok. The staff are really nice and hard working. The bar staff are really pleasant. The only negative points are the stairs leading to the bedrooms are a little precarious. Not surprising though given the age and history of the building.

We had a fantastic meal last Thursday Evening. The staff so very friendly & helpful. They made our first experience of a pub restaurant in Wales an excellent one. Highly recommend you visit The Kings Head if you are visiting Ross On Wye.

We stayed one night (Sunday) and had a splendid evening meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a large super king bed and wine and water if you wished to purchase. The only downside was the TV reception was poor and almost unwatchable. Can recommend this hotel

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Nice sized, well equipped, quiet room. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Had breakfast and dinner, and were not disappointed by either. Great location and on site parking. Would highly recommend.

We recently visited for a three night bed-and-breakfast stay, the Hotel was as described, the rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable but the real highlight was the food. We spent long days out walking so really looked forward to what was on offer and the restaurant didn't disappoint. All of the staff that we encounterd were very friendly and... More

We stayed one night at the hotel and had dinner and breakfast too. Absolutely no complaints, the rooms was not luxurious but clean, comfortable and carried all the necessary basics. It's an old inn, so the rooms are a bit quirky in shape which we likeed. Our dinner was fine, and breakfast the following morning excellent, individually prepared, rather than a... More
