I eventually found my room which was at he very far end of the hotel on the upper floors.. no wifi signal up there, so I promptly went to repetition to ask to move room for better wifi as I had to do some work. Very shabby looking guy on reception who seemed to think I would be ok downgrading...

A warm welcome on arrival was well received. Entrance hall/ foyer very spacious. Room good and clean but bathroom needed updating. We noticed some bedrooms on our floor were being redecorated. £158 for a two night stay with breakfast was good value. Breakfast adequate but service slow one morning. Pleasant dining room. Bar area good. Didnt see function rooms and...

Close to town centre and shops . The hotel restaurant , Harry's, serves superb food --some of the best we have tasted in any hotel. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for easy access to local tourist attractions.

I'd expect a king size bed in a superior room & got a basic double, small TV which needs to be wall mounted as way...

Ross on Wye is an attractive little town, with great views across the Wye valley. The Chase is as good as it gets here, and is a lovely old Georgian Hotel with rooms that are comfortable if a little dated. Service was on the whole excellent, and breakfast was great.

Visited here in July 2016 for a family afternoon tea (7 adults and one toddler) for my Aunt's 60th Birthday. We arrived slightly late following an exhausting and slightly traumatic canoe trip on the river, probably looking quite disheveled but despite this were welcomed by delightful staff. I had phoned ahead with dietary requirements including my dad, who has diabetes...

I arranged a break here for our Ramblers' Group and there were 26 of us. The hotel was. Lovely, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble and it was spotlessly clean everywhere. The food, well let me tell you it was amazing! I had a delicious red onion and goats cheese tart, the best ever, fish...

Had a lovely afternoon tea yesterday bought for my birthday. My parents and my daughter came with me and we were all very impressed by the delicious treats on offer. Fresh sandwiches, small tartlets, scones, cream, jam, chocolate cake, fruit tarts and strawberry pannacottas. Everything was very tasty and the amount was just right. We were full but not too...
