Spent a lovely weekend celebrating our mother's 90th birthday with 9 members of our family stopping from Friday to Sunday in a well equipped and comfortable cottage. We had 12 family members visit for the day on Saturday, who could not praise the location or the standard of the cottage highly enough, many thanks to Angela. C Darby - Coventry

It must be hard to please all of the people all of the time. We're big fans of TripAdvisor and use it most of the time when looking for somewhere to eat or stay. Before booking we read the review about spider's and weeds and as neither trouble is that much weren't put off. We had a great Easter weekend... More

We stayed in Wagoners Cottage in July 2014 for a week. We were very disappointed with the condition of the cottage after reading the website. There were spiders and cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, dust everywhere, dirty windows, grubby cushions on chairs. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. Outside, the grass needed a cut and weeds... More

I was sad to see this review as I do pride myself on offering lovely clean cottages and have for many years. I do remember this couple and unfortunately when I visited the cottage the morning of their stay noticed the oil boiler had leaked onto the concrete floor below ( it is in a cupboard in the hallway) I... Last weekend was my daughters Hen Weekend. Eleven of us (of various ages) stayed in The Granary for two nights. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room for all of us. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms (which were very nice indeed) were comfortable and well equiped. The kitchen had plenty glasses, plates etc. We could sit comfortably around... More

15 of us in the Granary and Owls Nest. Granary very well equipped for eaking and drinking although oven capacity bit stretched for a large meal. Good seating area, television a bit dated. Owls nest much more basic but pleasant enough. Very quiet location and plenty to do close at hand.

We had a lovely time in The Granary. We stay in lots of holiday cottages and this one is particularly well equipped. It is very comfortable, quiet and well-organised, and in a good position for the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Bristol. It is clean and warm and the 8 of us ( including three teenagers) had a wonderful... More

The cottage we stayed in was very spacious and well layed out. All but one of the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice but I have seen better equipped kitchens, also the fridge was tiny with only a small freezer compartment at the top. As a family with 3 small children on a self catering holiday we tend to... More

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on The Barn House one of my four cottages in Llangarron. I am pleased you found it spacious and enjoyed your stay with us. Also pleased you found the beds to all be comfortable except for the 5th bed which as explained on my web site is a put... More

We managed to get a week here in the school holidays for less than the price of a caravan! The owners were both friendly and helpful, and we were very happy with the accomodation ~ clean, spacious, well furnished and quiet (the only noise other than birdsong, was some music in an adjacent barn on the Tuesday night ~ finished... Sweet little cottage, cosy living room, well equipped kitchen, great bathroom. Mrs Farr had put the heating on for us so the place was warm (stayed during half term in Feb). Bedrooms were small but plenty of room for the four of us. Nicely decorated without being too fussy, just what you want when you have two kids and a... More
