We have stayed here many times now, and can honestly say we enjoy it more and more each time! It truly is a perfect rural retreat and we always come home feeling relaxed and refreshed by the wonderful hospitality, the idyllic views and the varied wildlife.

My brother and I stayed with Hilary and her family a couple of months ago. On arrival she offered us a cream tea and showed us to our lovely room and where we could put stuff in a communal fridge. There was also a sitting room for guests. The room had lovely comfy beds with heated undersheets. There were tea... More

Brought my wife here for a weekend break and in spite of the Devonian liquid sunshine we had the most wonderful weekend and I have garnered a large number of beer voucher brownie points! Fantastic location, delightful family run, working farm and super, spotless and comfortable rooms. Hilary and Robert, together with their three boys provide a large, clean and... More

Thank you Hilary for our family stay with you at the beginning of August, for my nieces wedding locally. Having all 3 rooms it felt better than home from home. Excellent all round - rooms, facilities, breakfast, location and warm welcome with very professional service. Thanks from all of us, including Nathaniel. Fay

I am not exaggerating. This was our second stay at Beera, and it has gotten even better since we were last here. The area is completely breathtaking, and the house itself is peaceful and comfortable. The owner, Hilary, makes sure everything is just so, and is amazing at it. She is a fantastic cook, and breakfast at Beera was easily... More

What a lovely place to stay! Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights with family in the other 2 rooms and it truly felt like a home from home. Hilary was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and the views around the farmhouse were amazing. Very comfortable, clean and modern rooms and a complementary bag of local fudge!... Anyone who loves the countryside, peaceful surroundings, warm and welcoming hosts and top quality home-made breakfasts should stay at the Beera Farmhouse. The bedroom and other facilities were spotless, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well equipped with tea, coffee, chocolate, water, toffee and biscuits in the bedrooms. I'd go back any day when I'm in Devon. Thanks Hilary!

I would award it 6 stars, if possible. The peace, silence and sheer beauty of this place make it an altogether ideal destination for a quiet holiday in the countryside. The enclosure is set against a backdrop of picture-perfect English fields and the family who run the farm are absolutely charming and easy-going. Can't think of anything at all I'd... More

We stayed with Hilary & Robert for 3 days along with my niece and her husband. This was a wonderful stay in the beautiful Devon countryside. The house was spotless. We opted to have Hilary cook dinner for us on our 2nd day there. It was absolutely delicious. Both Hilary, Robert and their children were so pleasant to be around.... More

In my opinion nothing less than perfect - Hilary's warm welcome and delicious scones, the extensive documentation of local places to visit and attractions, the spacious and comfortable accommodation itself with a glorious view over the farmland, the delicious home cooked breakfast, the conveniently located nearby pub, the tranquility.
