We had a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived we thought wow (I loved the door and the stained glass, very pretty), it felt so warm and cozy as we entered with an absolutely gorgeous scent throughout. Our amazing host Bradley greeted us (with all covid safe measures in place) Very welcoming and accommodating! Couldn't ask for more. The bedroom was so inviting, very clean and again the scent was fab. We love little touches and the biscuits and Nespresso machine really were great, an added bonus Bradley offered fresh milk. After our very long journey a cup of tea is just what you need! We loved the shower very spacious and we loved the waterfall shower head - added bonus we didn't have to nudge each other out of the way to get to the water! Finally, we couldn't wait to dive into the wonderful comfy depths of pillows and duvet.. smelling amazing after using the locally sourced unisex body wash and shampoo (another detail we loved!) we had a watch of Netflix then had an early night in prep for interview bright and early! We slept amazing, was very hard to leave with how cozy the bed was! A breakfast grab and go was ready for the morning which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was served in the room and the honey was so yum with the yoghurt. Bradley left us with a few great things to do and the walk was beautiful along the canal! Overall words to describe our stay Luxurious, amazing and so homely! Will be recommending to family and friends when they come to stay! (PS Partner got the job!!!)

Hotel's Favorite
We’ve just returned from a wonderful 2 night break here. I travel(travelled!) a lot with work and have high expectations of hotels for my personal travel, plus I am very very Covid conscious and was a bit anxious accordingly however the hotel exceeded all my expectations! It was scrupulously clean with very good Covid processes in place and yet also still very luxurious, fragrant and with as warm a welcome as is possible in these times. Everything had been thought of in our very beautiful room (room 2, superior king). Brad was super helpful. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Myself and Husband wanted a luxurious relaxed weekend away for my birthday and this is hotel gave us exactly what we wanted. The quality of the decor, bedding, breakfast was outstanding! The honesty bar, candles on the staircase and lighting all made us feel very relaxed. We would definitely recommend this hotel and Tavistock as a whole. We also ate at Taylors, recommended by Tavistock House Hotel and it did not disappoint! Another top quality place to go.

Just back from a great two night stay at the Tavistock House Hotel. Superior hotel beautifully restored decorated and furnished. Brad the owner couldn’t do enough for us especially under current circumstances and fully Covid set up. Excellent continental breakfast also.

We have just spent 4 glorious nights here and have to congratulate Brad and his family for a truly wonderful stay. Everything is just perfect, from the fabulous rooms to the lovely breakfast. Cleanliness and safety during this COVID situation was addressed perfectly and didn’t impact at all on our enjoyment. Thank you all for a lovely stay and would love to visit you and the area on the future.
