Just got back home today after our first visit to Wowo. I stumbled across this place last year when doing a walk in the area and had been wanting to go there since then. Booking was easy (do it online). Prices were v reasonable. On checking in, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Facilities were great: plenty of showers,... More

This campsite is fantastic. The staff and fellow campers are all super-friendly and this made for a great short break! The woodland, stream and rope swings provide wonderful entertainment for the kids and there is so much to do. One of the best features is the enormous plots which each have their own fire pit which is a real bonus.... More

Agree with some other reviews that this camp is a bit of a Hippy type magnet. A lot of kids were hippy kids too and all enjoyed the sing song in the evenings - felt a bit like we were part of a cult lol The toilets and showers were poor quality and festival like. Would definitely say to camp... More

Ok. We booked this campsite for a girls and kids mid week break and it wasn't quite what we had expected. We booked the Alice Yurt £260 for 2 nights so were expecting something quite special ( having stayed in some seriously beautiful bell tents and yurts for much less). The Yurt was rustic ( fine), but not especially clean,... More

Lovely campsite, I have been here a number of times. I would highly recommend this site if you have little ones, I have 2 little boys, there are rope swings , ample fields, activities , music , will certainly keep them busy. I agree with some of the other reviews, it is a bit hippy! Basically, you'll get London ,... More

Great location. Fires, stream, walks and cycling. Great for kids. Toiler facilities pretty bad though especially after a bank holiday stay so would avoid that. We also rented on of the huts and a yurt

This was the first camping we'd braved with our two-year-old and four-year-old, so we were a bit apprehensive - but we were pleasantly surprised. Good spacious family showers, flushing composting loos, decent washing facilities and really helpful, friendly staff made it as easy as it could be. WiFi was available for a charge, but we didn't bother. The site is... More

It's a lovely site with a real family feel. Lots of adventurous areas and things to do for kids including swings and exploring and classes learning about making fires in the wild. My nephew loved it. Great location with the steam train close by (def worth a visit) and a lovely shop onsite although not far from uckfield if you... More

This was my first english camping and what a shock compared to Europe. The site itself is a selection of fields with a central barn/shop. The fire places next to tents were fun for my granddaughters. The whole place was a bit dirty. Not enough toilets but fairly clean. The shower I did not trust. Not a place I would ever... More

What an absolute delight !! Arrived Friday afternoon for the weekend and set up in the group field as there were a few of us. I think it was the best field to choose given the others were pretty rammed and relatively noisy, and we ended up with a fire pit to ourselves. There was a pizza van on site... More
