We selected Barons Court as a stopover on our journey back to the Lake District from Cornwall, both on price and on the fact that they allow dogs in their rooms. It's a small gem of a place. Now a listed building, it was built about 110 years ago in the Arts and Crafts style, and has many original features.... More

My partner and I loved our stay at this grand old house with all mod cons and lovely garden. I really liked the quiet of the location and the comfy olde worde lounge as I had to do some writing in the morning. Many thanks to Keith, the hotel manager, who was fantastic and certainly went the extra mile to... More

Stayed here as a stopover to go to v festival. Cute little place - great value for money and a lovely breakfast in the morning for only £7 each. Manager was nice and felt like a wee home from home. The communal rooms are full of unusual character and the rooms nice and clean. Biscuits and tea and coffee in... More

Stayed here friday night, the man you deal with is a little abrupt and a little unhelpful, rooms clean and tidy with a few touches like chocolate bars and water which was ok. it was noisey after people came back drinking. in the morning the man seemed even ruder. maybe a little more customer service would help.

Was in Wolverhampton on busines for the whole week. Very pleasant stay, rooms were comfortable and well decorated, breakfast was substantial. The shared areas were comfortable and relaxing. Keith was very helpful.

My wife and I stayed for one night in August, as we wanted a location near to Wightwick Manor, that we would be visting the next day. We were returning from Wales and had warned the hotel that we were expecting to arrive after 9pm, but the fact that we turned up several hours early didn't faze them at all,... More

Turned up at 14.10 to check in (check in was from 14.00) would have been nice if the desk attendant had been more welcoming, was repeatedly told that check in was from 2 pm, it took him 10 to 15 minutes to find out if room our was ready even though i had pre booked the room weeks before and... I think you may have placed your review for the wrong hotel! We don't have a bar that serves food at lunchtime or evenings. Sorry ... It could be for the same name hotel in Walsall Wood. More

We've just been there for one night, the hotel is lovely and feel like home. The main entrance has got 24hrs access and the stuffs are all very nice. The facilities are average. Just a little pity things is a bit dampness, maybe coz the history of the house. Anyway, very enjoy and suitable the people who really like quiet... More

Thanks for your review. Upon reading it seems like a translation so I can't comment on what you see as the facilities, but we think they are very very good! It is a historical house but certainly not damp ... Anyway, thank you for your kind words. John. More
