Lovely place. Great location. Some might find it outdated but I think that’s what gives the place quirkinesses. Alison and Sarah were very hospitable and could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was also nice, served with the smile. We will definitely go back.

Stayed at The Moorings for two nights on the 3 & 4 August 2018. Genuine & warm welcome by Sarah and Alison, who made us feel very comfortable. A large, clean, bright and airy bedroom to the front of the B&B with a double bed. Despite the heat outside we had a great nights sleep.

Stayed for three nights and couldn't fault the place. Welcoming hosts, rooms furnished with everything we needed, all very relaxed. The decoration is old-fashioned but clean and tidy throughout. Especially liked the kitchenette available for guests to use.

The house is constantly being refurbished and maintained, however it is a Victorian villa and is decorated to that style in public areas while the room are of more modern design. We are a guest house and advertise as such so not sure where you got the "hotel" from, sorry you were disappointed. we have updated our web site so say we do have dogs. Colin
