Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Very central and close to the promenade, pier and shopping area. Parking is sometimes difficult as no car park and you have to pay. The food is lovely and I had breakfast in my room which was also very good and nothing was missing from it. It might be a little more money but... More

Prior to arrival the confirmation paperwork stated air - conditioning. As my wife suffers from the heat we normally have to take a fan with us, however we felt we didn't need to take one. Went to our room 138 to find NO air conditioning!! The view from the window promised one of the gardens. These turned out to be... More

Stayed for a weekend with a large group and definitely won't ever be going back! Firstly the good - Great position by the beach - providing you don't have one of the bedrooms overlooking a car/bus park. Our room was facing the park. The bad - the room had the most unpleasant smell and one of the windows wouldn't open... More

I stopped at the hotel because of its location, this was the best part. The hotel needs to have the rooms and common area's updated. It was clean but dated, and I don't like the idea of carpet in bathrooms. There is no parking but you can park outside for free between 6pm and 9am.

Stayed here for five nights this past week. The hotel was very well kept and presented, nothing was too much trouble for any of the hotel team who were all polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, nice quality food and served piping hot and fresh. We dined in one evening which was again really good quality food. The location is... More

Room it's self, fuctional/clean. Unfortunately it's situated at the back of hotel facing the bus garage, the kitchen extract fans are also there. As you can imagine the noise and smells that come from it are intolerable. They are swiched on at 0500am till 2200pm so you will have a disturb sleep. Next, the room is like a furnace as you... More

My wife and I were part of a Shearings Holiday group just returned from a four night stay at the Chatsworth. We had a newly refurbished room which was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were always very helpful and the variety and quality of the evening meals was extremely good, not to mention the many choices available at breakfast.... More

Four nights in a friendly comfortable and perfectly located for beach and shops. The food was substantial and individually catered. Just around the corner was the pier and frequent buses east and west along the coast.

I stayed in a twin room August Bank Holiday week for 4 nights. I booked a holiday special which was £336 in total. That included breakfast and evening meal. I didn't take advantage of the evening meals as I was visiting family and most of them are vegetarian. Unfortunately the veggie choice was very limited. However, the breakfast was nice.... More
