Had the misfortune to be taken to the Chatsworth Hotel on Saturday for a Celebration Afternoon Tea by friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. I wished I had been taken to M&S instead because we would have received a warmer welcome there. We were shown to an empty room & told to “help ourselves” to tea & coffee / the...

We booked a couple of months ago to stay for one night last week as part of a wedding party. We were quoted a price of £94 per night. When I mentioned it was cheaper to book via booking.com I was told that this was a maximum price but would be reduced should the wedding party book several rooms. (...

We decided to try out the Chatsworth for a future booking. We stopped the one night on BB & Evening Meal basis. First impressions on arrival were great. We had a quick look at the Restuarant, the two lounges & Bar. Then to our Bedroom on the third floor, (There are two lifts) first impressions were very good overlooking the...

Niece hotel, good restaurant, my steak (fillet) was very good. Staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately this hotel would benefit from some TLC. However clean and comfortable. Good wifi in communal arias but no wifi in my bedroom. Car park 5 min walk but only £4

Stayed just one night after a 60th birthday party in Lancing. Checked in after 6 Saturday evening and parked for free right outside the hotel. With free parking on Sundays no need to get up too early to move car! Comfortable double bedroom if somewhat small. What the hotel calls a garden view is in fact a view over the...

Conveniently located between the town & the seafront this independent traditional hotel was exactly as expected, characterful with decent size rooms & lovely staff. Finding the hotel & parking was easy, vouchers were available to reduce the on-street parking if staying for longer than the 2hr maximum, check in was painless & staff were happy to advise on running routes...

Right on the sea front & next to town centre, with lots of bars & places to eat . Staff friendly , hotel clean but our room was very dated . The carpet was threadbare, no duvet on the bed just sheets & a rather tatty brown blanket . Could hear the tv & talking from other rooms as well...

I arrived early evening and the hotel staff were very welcoming and got me sorted out. I went up to my room and although very dated was clean enough and had everything I needed. I went to hang my clothes up in my wardrobe and the handle came off in my hand which was no big deal, just needed to...

Was here on business for two nights and decided to take my wife. Coastal towns can be a bit cold and wild in February and this had the added bonus of being extremely wet too. I ought to admit up front that my client was paying, so the price of £80 for the room inc breakfast represented good value and...
