We walked into a large room with fantastic views, there was so much space for a family of four. The rooms really do need air con when you have that many people in them other wise we had a great stay. We had dinner and breakfast in the attached cafe and it was good value for money not a big... More

Although in an old building the hotel was well positioned on the sea front. Bus stop just outside. Bus to Brighton every ten minutes. The inside of the hotel was warm and inviting. All staff were helpful and cheerful. The bedroom was a large bedroom and very comfy bed facing the sea. You wake up with a perfect view out... More

Great sea views from room115! Free car park around back, for about 8 cars on a first come basis. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Large bay window with beautiful sea views, which also lets in plenty of fresh air. 10 minute walk into town. Plenty of lighting, shower pretty good, didn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. Fan, tall mirror,... More

We booked this place as a 'walk in'. The chap on reception let us use their phone to book as it would be cheaper. He was incredibly helpful. The hotel is right on the sea front with free street parking after 6pm. It needs a facelift but it's clean and the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, free Wifi... More

It's a travelodge, wasn't expecting luxury, beds more than acceptable, good sea view from my room, food in the restaurant was actually very nice. Room was cleaned daily Parking available outside the hotel and nearby side streets, 10 minute walk to the town centre. Again it's a travelodge, not sure what else I can say apart from it was acceptable... More

Serves a purpose. Clean but sparse room. (Obviously an old hotel in the past.) Very comfy bed. You can request a sea view. Booked room only and ate breakfast in local beach cafe. Perfectly ok for £49 per night.

Arrived early on a friday afternoon and found the room available before the check-in time. Staff were very helpful and told us the small car park at the rear of the hotel is free and on a first come first served basis. Having called the hotel before we arrived we were delighted to get a sea facing room and once... More

Very basic hotel. I could see people walking past due to the large gap under the fire door. Room was clean enough, but quiet cold. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. Probably wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night though.

....... it's staff. Always friendly and nothing is too much trouble even when they are very busy. The hotel was quiet, the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We visit fairly often and the customer service is always of a very high standard.
