I was introduced to this establishment by friends one evening and after the meal I commented it's the best food being served in Worthing at the moment. From the welcome on the door to the attention to detail from your choice of menu the staff's knowledge of what was in the food and the presentation was second to non .......

On a day trip to Worthing from Birmingham we managed to book a table for 3 at the Egremont on Saturday night with just 2 hours notice. What a gem of a pub! Fabulous, candle-lit atmosphere with a full candelabra lighting our little table. Great selection of food at very reasonable prices - I had the Thai chicken curry priced...

Fantastic gin menu it has opened my eyes to all the different gins available, plus the bar staff are really friendly and all ways willing to advice. We recently moved to the area and although not the nearest pub happy to call this out local. Big thanks to the lnadlors and his staff.

Since the refurb, this pub now has a very nice feel about it, with friendly staff and a generally good ambience with the less desirable drinking community of Worthing obviously now having moved on to somewhere else.. However this is badly let down by the overpriced drinks (probaly due to the chain's pricing policy rather than the landlord) and what...

Very interesting bar, staff know their stuff, good wine choice, great choice for gin. Rustic bistro look inside, locals are interesting too! Better inside than out. Service swift and helpful. Worth a visit.

We had a fantastic meal here on Saturday night. They had a special Valentines menu which was very resonabley priced for three courses. We expected the food to be good but it was way beyond our expectations. There are many so called fine dining places that could not produce the quality of food we enjoyed. It was beautifully presented, delicious...

Popped in for a drink after hearing good things about the refurbishment. We took the dog and she was very welcome with free treats available for her on the bar. Had a couple of drinks no more expensive than anywhere else in town and found the staff very friendly. We thought the seating layout a bit strange with a mix...

Looks nice now but lacks atmosphere and drinks rather expensive, but compared to before (where you would think twice about going in)it's a great improvement! It looks more like it should be in Hove not Worthing. Well worth a look though.

It was always a big shame that such a lovely building could be such an awful pub but, following the excellent refurbishment, the Egremont has certainly been given a new lease of life. We popped in yesterday for a quick drink before eating and were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, pleasant decor with some quirky touches and plenty of seating areas...

I always avoided the Egremont because of comments like those previously submitted. Please ignore these comments as the whole pub has had a complete refit. Very tastefully done being very sympathetic with the features of this very distinctive building. I went in today for the first time and will definitely go back. Another reason to visit Sunny Worthing...
